Lotus Root and Peanut Vegetarian Dumplings

Dish Introduction:

Crunchy lotus root paired with savory peanuts creates a delightful texture and unique taste.

Ingredients:

Dumpling wrappers 150g, lotus root 50g, roasted peanuts 10g, minced ginger, Salt, sesame oil (to taste).

Steps:

1. Peel and dice lotus root into small cubes; blanch briefly and drain.

2. Crush roasted peanuts and mix with lotus root, ginger, salt, and sesame oil.

3. Wrap the mixture into dumpling wrappers and boil until cooked.

Tips:

• Lotus root retains its crunchiness when not overcooked.

• Peanuts add protein and healthy fats, making this a nutritious choice.
